If you have always wanted to come to the Queen Charlotte Islands, the time is right to experience this beautiful land. There is something magical and wild about the way one feels, standing in a mossy forest or on miles of sandy beaches while in holiday mode. One could be winding down a pathway to the place of the blow holes at Tow Hill, or pulling a huge halibut from the bottom of the ocean or watching eagles, there seems just to many to count. We who live here in one of the few small towns have fallen in love with this unforgettable place. Its laid back lifestyle creates just the place to experience a feeling of connectedness to the culture, the people, and the land. And it is closer than you think!!!

In the middle of Graham Island is a small town called Port Clements situated on the shore of the great Masset inlet. It is a small town with a big heart as you will see with the friendly people there. For a place to stay try "Smillies Bed & Breakfast" on the ocean side of the street. Tuck in there for its country charm, self contained private entrance, queen bed and ensuite, full breakfast and prime location. It is close to shops,pub,museum, fishing and the Golden Spruce trail. From Port Clements it is:

• 20 min to the beaches on the east coast,
• 35 min to Masset,
• 60 min to Queen Charlotte Village,
• 60 min to Tow Hill and miles of amazing beach and
• 90 min to the uninhabited west coast of Graham Island with more miles of magical beaches.
